Balmoral Castle is the Scottish holiday home to the Royal Family and this year the grounds, gardens, exhibitions, gift shops and coffee shop are open to the Public on a daily basis from Friday 1st April until Tuesday 2nd August.

The Balmoral Expedition is a wonderful experience for you to enjoy as a social household bubble (one ticket covers an exclusive tour for a maximum of five) and includes admission to Balmoral.

This timed ticket provides access to the grounds, gardens and exhibitions at Balmoral. Adults can experience the audio tour while children enjoy the Corgi Challenge, which follows the same route.
This admission ticket also includes morning coffee and cake in the relaxing atmosphere of the The Pipers Hall coffee shop and is served daily from 1000 to 1130.
This admission ticket also includes a delicious afternoon tea served in the relaxing atmosphere of The Pipers Hall (served 1300 until 1600 with the exception of Thursdays).
This special celebration afternoon tea will be available from 2nd until 5th June.
Served on fine bone china and will include special cakes. You will also be able to watch the celebrations live on at least six screens that will be installed just for the weekend.

During the 2022 we have a range of special events taking place.
This will include our outdoor theatre performances together with Pipe Bands playing, a Birds of Prey display, vintage buses and a corgi gathering on the lawn in front of the Castle.
At Balmoral we have a range of holiday cottages available for rental throughout the year.
Choose from Colt Cottages, Connachat Cottage, Garbh Allt Shiel, Karim Cottage, Knocks Cottage, Rhebreck Lodge, Sterinbeg Cottage and Tigh na Garaidh Cottage.
The Crathie Post Office / Gift Shop is currently open to the Public from Monday to Friday (1000 until 1400 only).
At Balmoral we have some very special residents - our red squirrels.
The red squirrel is one of Scotland's favourite mammals but it is declining in numbers and classified as an endangered species. At Balmoral we are lucky to have several scurries of squirrels and you can watch them feeding.
