Each Wednesday afternoon during May, June and July the Ranger Service provide a guided woodland walk, which starts from the Carriage Hall Exhibition at 2.00 p.m.
This walk will take you through the grounds and gardens of Balmoral, passing by some of the monuments and cairns. Your guide will explain about the history of Balmoral as well as the woodland, wildlife, flora and fauna.
The walks last approximately two hours and covers between two and three miles.
The Estate admission fee must be paid and there is a charge of £5.00 per person for the guided tour. Places are limited - to book your ticket for this event click here. Tickets will not be posted out - you will receive an e-mail confirmation to present on arrival.

The Ranger Service also provide a programme of special themed guided walks during the spring, summer, autumn and winter months. Details for these will be uploaded to the website as soon as dates are confirmed.
