The grounds, gardens, gift shop, restaurant and Ballroom Exhibition are open to the Public from 28 March until 9 August 2026. Open daily 1000 until 1700, with last recommended admission at 1600.

At Balmoral we have some very special residents - our red squirrels.

The inquisitive red squirrels are one of Scotland's favourite mammals but it is declining in numbers and is classified as an endangered species. We are lucky to have several scurries of squirrels and you can watch them feeding throughout the year.
