The grounds of Balmoral Castle are currently closed, however our gift shop and terrace cafe at the main gates will be open daily from 1000 until 1600. The walk to Prince Albert's Pyramid is available.

The grounds of Balmoral Castle are currently closed to the public, however our gift shop and terrace cafe at the main gates will be open daily from 1000 until 1600.

August and September

The grounds of Balmoral Castle are currently closed to the public and will open again on Wednesday 1st October.

Details for our autumn and winter opening will be available soon so please check back for information.

During our autumn and winter opening you will be able to enjoy some of the walks around the grounds, and have an opportunity to visit the Mews Gift Shop and the Restaurant.

The grounds and gardens at Balmoral Castle make for the perfect dog walking; we kindly request that dogs are kept on a lead during your adventures and that you leave the gardens clean for other visitors to enjoy.
