Summer Opening

This year the grounds, gardens and exhibitions at Balmoral will open to the Public on a daily basis from Saturday 4th May until Sunday 11th August and you can now book your tickets online. 

We are pleased to announce an exciting range of options for visiting Balmoral, including afternoon tea, an expedition tour or a private tour with our experienced guides that takes you through several of the beautiful rooms within Balmoral Castle.

All tickets include the wonderful opportunity to visit the grounds, gardens, exhibitions, Mews Gift Shop and Cafe. The facilities will be open daily from 1000 until 1700, with last recommended admissions at 1600.

Castle Internal Guided Tours

For the first time since the castle was completed in 1855, we have been granted permission to take you on a private tour with our experienced guides.   This historical journey takes you through several of the beautiful rooms within Balmoral Castle.

These exclusive tours will be available from 1st July until 4th August and are restricted to 10 people per tour.

Afternoon Tea

You can make your visit to Balmoral extra special by including a delicious afternoon tea.

Relax in our recently renovated restaurant and savour a selection of delicious sandwiches, scones and cakes. We offer classic, vegetarian or gluten free versions and on the day you can choose to upgrade to the sparkling option, if you wish.
