Availability

Our properties are available for weekly rentals, with the exception of weeks during The Royal Visit and have weekend changeovers.

Choose from Connachat Cottage, Garbh Allt Shiel, Karim Cottage, Knocks Cottage, Rhebreck Lodge, Sterinbeg and Tigh Na Garaidh.

Connachat Cottage

This property is located approximately three miles West of the Castle and is set in a secluded location.

The property provides accommodation for up to six people (eight using the sofa bed). Visit Scotland 4 star self catering award.

Garbh Allt Shiel

This property is located on a scenic location about five miles West of the Castle, near the Old Brig O' Dee.

The property provides accommodation for up to seven people (eight using the trundle bed). Visit Scotland 4 star self catering award.

Karim Cottage

This property is located in the grounds of Balmoral, near the Castle, the beautiful gardens and Estates Office.

The property provides accommodation for up to six people (eight using the day beds). Visit Scotland 4 star self catering award.

Knocks Cottage

This property is located in a quiet setting about a mile from Ballater.

Knocks Cottage provides accommodation up to seven people using the futon. This is a privately owned property and Balmoral Estates act as the booking agent for this property.

This stunning extended property is located in a pretty setting overlooking the River Muick, near Ballater.

Milton Cottage has recently been refurbished and now provides accommodation for up to six people and will be available mid 2025.

This wonderful semi-detached property is located in a pretty setting overlooking the River Muick, near Ballater.

Milton Steading Cottage 1 is currently being converted and will provide accommodation for up to six people with rentals opening July 2025.

This property is located in the grounds of Balmoral, overlooking the golf course across to Crathie Church.

Rhebreck Lodge provides accommodation for up to six people (seven using the day bed). Visit Scotland 4 star self catering award.

Sterinbeg Cottage

This property is situated in a secluded location in the Glen Muick area, just a short drive from Ballater.

Sterinbeg Cottage provides accommodation for up to six people and has a wonderful enclosed garden with patio seating area.

Tigh Na Garaidh Cottage

This property is situated in a quiet location in the gardens of Balmoral Castle.

Tigh Na Garaidh Cottage provides accommodation for up to four people and has a wonderful enclosed garden, overlooking the conservatories.

Pets welcome

Dogs are welcome in the holiday cottages at Balmoral and during your stay you can enjoy the wonderful walks in the grounds of Balmoral.

There is a charge of £15 per pet per week and we request that dogs are kept on a lead and you clean up after your pet.
