The grounds, gardens, Mews Gift Shop, Restaurant and Ballroom Exhibition are open daily, 1000-1700. Please note, scaffolding for maintenance work is currently erected on the west side of the Castle.

A traditional kitchen tool in Scotland for stirring up porridge, it has many uses in the kitchen, from smashed potatoes to muddling fruit for cocktails!

The Balmoral spurtle is made from turned beech wood for a smooth finish and long life, finished with an abstract thistle shape and the Balmoral Castle logo.
